On Sunday, December 29, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m. local time, South Korea’s Jeju Air flight 7C 2216 crashed as it attempted to land in Muan International Airport. The Boeing 737-800 had departed from Bangkok, Thailand with a total of 181 people onboard, including crew and passengers. The tragic incident claimed the lives of 179 people. The two survivors, who were both cabin staff, are currently in recovery.
The Wicks Group (TWG) is deeply saddened by this tragic incident and our heartfelt condolences go out to the families, friends, and colleagues of those affected by this devastating event.
