Alice (Ali) Walker Orr is an associate attorney-consultant at The Wicks Group. Ali’s consulting work has focused on assisting foreign civil aviation authorities (CAAs) with becoming compliant with requirements set forth in Annexes 1, 6, and 8 to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation. She has done so by reviewing their current regulations against the international standards to identify needed additions or revisions and then drafting new regulatory content to meet the needs.

Prior to joining TWG, Ali worked with several non-profit legal organizations, providing research and advice for victims of domestic violence and accompanying them for court proceedings. Ali also has experience preparing real estate contracts and financial disclosures. She holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, where she was a top Moot Court competitor. She also holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from The University of Tampa (both awarded with honors).

• Analyzing foreign civil aviation authority compliance with ICAO Annex 1, 6, and 8 standards and recommended practice
• Drafting regulatory revisions and additions to bring foreign civil aviation authority regulations into compliance with FAA Model Civil Aviation Regulations (version 2.10) and ICAO Annex 1, 6, and 8 requirements

Assisting clients with preparing US Department of Transportation Special Permit applications and understanding US DOT hazardous materials (HazMat) regulations.
